AUDITION FORMS TO DOWNLOAD/FILL OUT

  • Memorized Audition Song (See below for music links)

For the Audition you will be asked to sing one of the selected songs shown below. It is recommended that you be familiar with all songs in case you are asked to sing a different song. Songs should be memorized if possible.

When you audition for us we are looking for bold character choices. Make it memorable! We strongly suggest that you research the characters to have a better understanding of each one and how to perform that character. Here is something to get you started

Also, we’ve provided a practice video below for your dance audition. You should use this video to come prepared to auditions with the dance very well rehearsed (Even better if it is memorized). You will be placed in audition groups for the dance portion of the audition. You will NOT be required to perform the dance as a solo. We want to emphasize that we are primarily looking for musicality in your dancing and the ability to pick up the dance and not necessarily that you can execute each move perfectly.

Middle School Audition Material

Hello! Below are your audition materials. Please select ONE song that is most appropriate for you. We understand that auditioning can be nerve racking, but remember, we are rooting for you! We want you to do well! For those of you who are in choir you have been learning the song “Homeward Bound”. We would ask that you please use this as your audition piece. If you have not learned this song that is ok! You can either learn Homeward Bound OR you can sing Happy Birthday. You are NOT at a disadvantage if you choose this option! We ask that the song and dance be from memory.

Soprano voice part - Homeward Bound

Alto voice part - Homeward Bound

Baritone voice part - Homeward Bound

Any voice part - Happy Birthday
